When it came time for Ryder to propose, he picked the perfect time when the entire family was together- Thanksgiving! Stephany loves to host, so she had everyone over for the holiday. When everyone was finished eating, they took family pictures, which was a tradition at every gathering. As she was setting her phone up to set the timer, Ryder said, "Well, since everyone is here," she turned around, and he was kneeling on one knee. He was in tears, holding a beautiful box that she assumed was a ring, but could not take her eyes off his eyes. She said she was in complete shock! They had discussed getting married, but they were not in a big rush, so she had no idea, which is how she said she wanted it to happen. He finally asked her if she would marry him, and of course, the answer was yes! When it comes to what these two love about one another, Ryder says she makes him want to be the best version of himself possible, and Stephany says the peace and patience he brings to her soul is so special; he is the calm in all storms. She loves that he has God in his heart and soul, and always reminds her that God has them!
