June 15th was a beautiful summer day. I can easily remember this day because it was actually a cool summer morning for South Carolina! I arrived at Emily's family home to catch all of those getting ready moments. The first thing I saw when I walked into the door was Emily sitting on the couch with rollers in her hair. She was smiling and laughing with a few of her bridesmaids, and I just knew this day was going to be great! While the girls were getting ready I was looking at all of Emily's beautiful details, and I noticed a set of earrings and butterfly pin. These belonged to her grandmother..(tear jerker). Emily was also given a scrapbook from some pretty special people in her life. It was full of love, and emotion!
Felder and Emily got married at St. Paul Methodist Church. It was a beautiful ceremony. Tears were shed, as the sweet couple said their vows to one another! After the ceremony came to an end the party was just beginning at the Florence Country Club. Emily was so excited about the band they chose! It was a 90s cover band called "The Buzz" and let me tell you... they kept everyone on the dance floor!
While the party was going we sneaked out onto the golf course to get a moment for the two of them to have some portraits made! Once we got out there I think they enjoyed that little moment alone for the first time as husband and wife.
The couple returned to their party and danced the night away! A speech was made by one of Emily's childhood friends, and it was just the sweetest thing I have ever heard. The whole room was smiling at the love being shared! Emily's sorority sisters sang their song to her and celebrated her being married! Felder's KA brother's yelled their chant for him in honor of their brotherhood!
Felder and Emily exited their night with a sparkler send off! The kissed, dipped, and rode off into the night to start their new life as Mr. & Mrs. Leaphart!
